Help Samale Create a Better Society!

Greetings from Samale Institute. 2022 was an eventful year that marked an important milestone: we reached 5,000 youth engagements since the Institution’s foundation! These socially conscious young entrepreneurs have taken part in our training sessions on social entrepreneurship and the SDGs programs.

Building ties and assisting young entrepreneurs locally and nationally has been a key component of the work that Samale Institute does. Our projects and programmes continue to provide forums for in-depth discussions about the pressing issues of today as well as the exchange of information, resources, and strategies that support the development and well-being of local communities. Our team never gave up on the task of developing outstanding educational experiences for various learner groups.

I don’t believe there is a better place to learn about community development and initiatives that improve lives than at Samale. Coming to Samale has drastically altered my outlook on life and the way I used to think.: Fatma Ismail, Building Back Better: Promoting MSMEs for a More Sustainable and Resilient Economy Webinar Participant.

Human relationships are important, as we can all agree, and in 2022, we started welcoming energetic participants to Samale Centre. To assist community-focused initiatives, our team also put together engaging capacity-building programmes. We are looking forward to where we will be in 2023.

I’m thrilled to announce that in 2023, our flagship training programmes in community development will resume with an exciting new format. It is encouraging to see how many applications we have had from young people in Mogadishu. Additionally, we will keep providing a variety of online courses as well as focused in-person opportunities for women, young people, and disabled persons. In addition to upholding beliefs and concepts consistent with our vision and commitment to “a full and abundant life for all,” these projects highlight the knowledge and experiences of the learners who participate.

Samale’s programs cannot happen without supporters like you. You are an essential element of the Samale community, and you are part of the positive change we seek for generations to come.

Please consider supporting, or renewing your support to Samale Institute so we may continue this community development journey together. We welcome an opportunity to talk more about our work with you at any time.

Thank you so much and wishing you all the best in the year 2023.

Sincerely,

Abdukadir Mohamed Abdullahi

Executive Director, Samale Institute
