Najibullah Nor Isak is a development economist who worked at both public sector and academia. He is an expert in economic aspects of sustainable development and financing. Najibullah was a World Bank scholar at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies - GRIPS in Tokyo Japan. He is also a researcher who authored and coauthored several economic research studies where some of them were published in international journals. Mr. Isak obtained his MA in Public Finance from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies GRIPS in Japan and Bsc in Economics from SIMAD University in Somalia.
Abdukadir is a dedicated and diligent researcher and SDG expert interested in environmental sustainability, social inclusion & human right, and a just economy. Mr. Abdukadir has a decade of experience in humanitarian activities working in both Somali and foreign cultures. Currently, he is a lecturer at SIMAD, Benadir and Hormuud Universities, while he is a Visiting Researcher at Marka University. He is knowledgeable, writer, workshop creator and presenter with an interest in sustainability background, sustainable community development, and human rights Activism. Abdukadir Obtained an MA in Sustainable Development Practice from University Sains Malaysia in Malaysia and a Bachelor of Public Administration from SIMAD University in Somalia. He is a Founding and Executive Director of Samale Institute.
Ahmed Siffat Naveel is a marketing communications professional and a consultant based out of Bangladesh. He is currently involved as an adjunct faculty member at a local private university where he lectures marketing to business administration students. Naveel is a keen researcher with interests spanning across new media communications and consumers' response to disruptive technologies. He obtained a masters degree in integrated marketing communications from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Kim completed her Master in Communication (IMC) in 2020. Currently, she is a Marketing Consultant (www.marketingintentworkshops.com) who enjoys working with clients to build and implement effective marketing strategies to improve business, brand and customer relationships. She expertly develops marketing strategies and produces content for creating long-term relationships with businesses. She enjoys the changing dynamic of marketing and the need to understand the client’s needs and goals of their clients. Previous to working in Marketing, Kim taught English in Oman and South Korea. She strongly believes Asset Based Community Development is a sound methodology for sustainable community development because its focus is on community strengths, community collaboration and believing in what is achieved once people know their potential. In her free time she enjoys yoga, drama and day tripping.
Abdulkadir Nor Isse is the Principal of 21st October School in Mogadishu. He has been working on the education and development sector for over 15 years. He also established several community development projects which succeeded in Mogadishu and Lower Shabelle region. Mr Isse has a passion to take the global goals to education and academic institutions as he led the expansion of Samale Institute objectives to several schools and to the Ministry of Education.
