About RCE
The Global RCE (Regional Centres of Expertise) Network is a collaborative network of regional hubs that focus on education for sustainable development (ESD). The network is coordinated by the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS). RCEs are located in various regions around the world and play a vital role in promoting sustainability education, research, and community engagement at the local and regional levels.
The Purpose of Global RCE Network

Research and Innovation

Global Network Platform:
The Global RCE Network provides a platform for RCEs to exchange information, experiences, best practices, and resources. This enables cross-regional learning and collaboration.
UNU-IAS Coordination
The United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) serves as the coordinating body for the Global RCE Network. It facilitates communication, knowledge sharing, and strategic development among RCEs.
